Frequently asked questions
You can top up your account with the following bank cards:
Most Visa debit cards;
Most Mastercard debit cards;
Some Maestro debit cards;
All Visa credit cards;
All Mastercard credit cards.
These bank cards are not accepted:
Visa Electron debit card;
American Express debit card.
You can check if your card is accepted by trying to top up your account or by asking your bank.
IMPORTANT: Payments can only be made with a bank card issued by a Lithuanian or EU bank.

Your card may have the following inscriptions to indicate the expiry date: "VALID THRU", "GOOD THRU", "EXPIRES END":

These are the 3 digits shown on the back of your bank card:

You can do it in the following ways:
In the Ežys self-service portal at ezys.lt/prisijungti;
In the “Mano Ežys” mobile app;
By calling the short number 1544 (the call is free; connecting to a consultant costs €0.10).
A new EŽYS account is valid for 100 days from your first call. After your account expires, you can only receive incoming calls and texts for another 100 days – you can no longer make calls or texts yourself.
If your account has expired and the ROAMING service is activated, you cannot receive incoming calls and SMS messages until ROAMING is switched off, even if you are in Lithuania. You can deactivate the service on the EŽYS self-service page.
100 days after your account expires, your number will be blocked – you cannot recover your number or the money/services you've ordered on your account.
