In “Telia” store

Visit the nearest “Telia” store. You will need an identity document and your Ežys SIM card.

As of January 1, 2025, new amendments to Lithuania's Electronic Communications Law mandate that all users of prepaid services must verify their identity with the service provider. Without registration, new customers will not be able to use EŽYS prepaid services.

No, existing EŽYS customers do not need to register if their SIM card was activated before December 31, 2024. However, SIM cards purchased before January 1, 2025, but not activated by that date, will require registration prior to activation.

EŽYS SIM cards can be activated in your name starting at the age of 14. For individuals under 18, it is recommended to review the terms together with a parent or guardian.

Yes, you can register the SIM card under another person’s name, but in that case, you take responsibility for the use of this EŽYS SIM card. The registration itself will need to be done under your name.

If a senior or a family member will be using the card, you can help them register online or direct them to the nearest „Telia“ store — the staff there will provide all the necessary assistance.

If you want to receive all informational messages and confirmation SMS related to another person’s SIM card, update the contact number. It’s easy:

  1. Log in to self-service and click on your profile icon.

  2. Select “Contacts and privacy”.

  3. Open the “Contact details” section.

  4. Under “Main contact details”, you’ll see the current number we use to reach you.

  5. If you want to change it, click “Edit details”.

  6. Enter the new number where you want to receive confirmation codes.

  7. When you’re done — click “Save”.

No, EŽYS SIM cards can only be registered under an individual’s name.

No, there is no limit. You may register as many EŽYS SIM cards as needed.

If online registration is not successful, you can complete the registration process at the nearest "Telia" store. Please bring a valid form of identification, such as an ID card, passport, or driver’s license.

Foreign citizens who are unable to register online can visit a "Telia" store. Please ensure you bring a valid identification document, such as an ID card, passport, or driver’s license, and the store staff will assist you with the registration process.
